In today’s time most of the automobile manufacturers are running the race of electrifying their products as the conventional model of fuel powered vehicles are putting the environment on stake. Even the big bulls of the world of automotive, those companies whose main purpose of making vehicles is providing luxury and ultimate driving pleasure are stepping up in the bandwagon. The German giants Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen have already started mass electrification of their vehicles. We need not give any special mention for the American Giant – Tesla, but big companies like Ford and GM have
also stepped into the game.
Well when it comes to luxury and the penultimate of driving pleasure, what first comes to our minds? Yes, Rolls Royce. Yes you read it right! Rolls Royce is also going to join the electric vehicle bandwagon. The
company which coach-builds one of the most bespoke and luxurious cars in the world is going electric. Well it is confirmed that there would be an electric car coming out of Goodwood, Great Britain, the place where all the Rolls Royce cars in the world are made. When will we see one in complete flesh is something
what is still a mystery. What we know right now from various sources is that the company calls this mystery car, “Project Silent Shadow”.
Rolls Royce is all about providing their customers the penultimate of luxury but at that same time their known for their unprecedented power and performance. So electrification will fit perfect for Rolls Royce, which means the car will have the power to shoot up ahead with instantaneous torque, like a rocket with the help of the electric motors that will be swapped for the rather huge V12s that come with the conventional gas powered Rolls Royce cars. The car will be a super silent beast of a machine, hence the name Silent Shadow. Expect the same levels of luxury or rather more luxury and opulence, including uncompromising bespoke automotive engineering that the company has a legacy of offering since over a century.
