
Following the heels of GMC and Chevrolet, General Motors has now announced the launch of a new all electric car under its Luxury focused Cadillac Brand. The Luxury SUV, Lyriq is expected to make its production debut in 2023, with reservation planned to open in September 2021.
It will feature a 12-module, 100 kilowatt-hour battery pack and a rear-wheel-drive Ultium propulsion system that will deliver an estimated 340 horsepower and 325 ft-lb of torque. The range is expected to hover around 480 Km on a full charge.

High Speed DC charging is a very sought after feature in new launches these days and the Lyriq is capable of being charged at 190 kW where one can get 122 Km range in 10 mins of charge time.

With prices starting at $69,898 the Cadillac Lyriq is priced between Ford Mustang Mach-E ($42,000) range and the Tesla Model S (82,000). Positioning a luxury electric car at a competitive price.
