Electric vehicle make a much better Prepers vehicle for a lot of reasons

You can make electricity but diesel fuel is much harder.

You won't need oil, filters, plugs and other maintenance supplies.

ou can modify the battery to be swappable and have a second battery and solar array to charge them.

You will not have to put yourself and resources in harms way on your way to barter, during and on your way from bartering for fuel and maintenance supplies.

An EV is more stealthier being that it is quieter, does not have a large black smoke signaling your location and it has less of a heat signature to register to IR sensors and other optics at night.
